The Farrell Lab is part of the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Kansas. We are a group of scientists from around the world that are motivated and united by our desire to understand biological systems at a molecular level. We work at the interface of chemistry, biology and medicine, and our research efforts aim to tackle clinical challenges. We are specifically interested in developing strategies that: (i) leverage/modulate carbohydrate-protein interactions that facilitate disease development and progression; and (ii) enhance the efficacy of cellular immunotherapies.
